The Department of Communicative Disorders (CODI) at the University of Louisiana at Monroe is accredited by the Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). CODI is part of the College of Health Sciences. The Department of Communicative Disorders offers both the B.S. and M.S. degrees in Speech-Language Pathology. Undergraduate and graduate students typically enjoy interactive courses and personal attention from the faculty. Transfer and incoming freshman students are required to initially see the Department Head for advising. Other students are required to see their assigned advisor each semester.
