Worker. Duties included: crisis
intervention, discharge planning, patient

within Medicare guidelines. Areas
covered included the orthopedic and
neurology floor. Also, worked patients
and families in the Emergency Room.

Baptist Children's Home, Monroe, LA.
Scheduled and supervised daily and
living activities of residents. Resided at
numerous cottages to serve as a relief
parent. Taught academic and inter-
personnel skills. Provided emotional
support to children and families.

Social Work Intern. Granberry Family
Ministries Center and Louisiana Baptist
Children's Home. Monroe, Louisiana.
Worked closely with Social Workers
and Marriage and Family Therapist.
Compiled information to complete a
thorough assessment of resources in the
community. Taught high school seniors
skills needed for college and adult
responsibilities. Observed marital,
individual, and group therapy.

Mission Chairperson. This position
involved promotion for summer missions
and development for fundraising
activities for summer missionaries.

Arkansas Baptist Children's Home
and Family Ministries.
Served as a
summer missionary. Worked and lived
at a shelter. This shelter was an
emergency receiving home for abused,
neglected, and abandoned children.
Provided care to children from the age
of birth to 18 years old. Planned outings
for the children and well as provide for
their basic needs. Summer of 1997.
