09/04               Promoted the Marriage and Family Therapy Center as well as the First West Counseling Center over a live radio broadcast on
                        88.7 FM The Cross in West Monroe, Louisiana while presenting listeners with awareness on the differences between males and
                         females and how this affects relationships.

05/04               Presented on dual relationships at Marriage and Family Therapy Ethical Symposium Monroe, Louisiana

02/04               Attended AAMFT Conference in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

02/01               Attended NASW Conference in Dallas, Texas as a student volunteer


COMMUNITY SERVICE

1/01-3/01         University of Louisiana at Monroe Marriage and Family Therapy Center

                        Began and completed a project that walked new students through each step of the Marriage and family Therapy Master’s and
                        Doctorate program, answered phone, ran copy machine, ran errands.

7/00-12/00       Monroe Mental Health Center, Monroe, Louisiana

                        Entertained children diagnosed with ADHD as they waited to see the doctor, helped patients fill out admissions forms, ran copy
                        machine for office workers.

8/00-8/01         Big Brothers/ Big Sister’s, Monroe, Louisiana

Volunteered as a Big Sister, spent quality time with little sister by taking her on various outings several times per month until she relocated.


Work and Related Experience

                        Currently completing a COAMFTE and CACREP accredited program.  This requires 63 hours of course work and 500 hours of
                        client contact supervision at the University of Louisiana at Monroe Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic.
