The program is dually accredited by COAMFTE (Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy) and CACREP ( Council of Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs) and consists of curriculum requirements including 63 graduate class hours and 500 clinical hours. Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
University of Louisiana at Monroe. Monroe, LA. The program consists of 128 class hours that includes, Abnormal Psychology, Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Personality Theory and Educational Psychology.


Clinical Experience
University of Louisiana at Monroe Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic

Responsibilities include scheduling therapy sessions with clients and maintaining client files. Requirements for program completion include acquiring 500 client contact session hours through on-campus internship and off-campus externship. Internship: January 2001 to May 2002

A+ Academy at Ouachita Parish High School
Responsibilities include scheduling individual and/or family therapy sessions with A+ students and their families.
Externship: September 2001 to May 2002

STEP (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting) Facilitator
Organized and facilitated parenting classes and workshops for the local community and area schools through Graduate Assistantship. August 2000 to May 2002


Teaching and Work Experience
Graduate Assistantship through the Geneve Castles' Endowment of the MAFT Center
