Master of Arts in Marriage
and Family Therapy
University of Louisiana at Monroe. Monroe, LA. The program is
dually accredited by COAMFTE (Commission on Accreditation for
Marriage and Family Therapy) and CACREP ( Council of Accreditation
of Counseling and Related Educational Programs) and consists of
curriculum requirements including 63 graduate class hours and
500 clinical hours. Graduation date: May 2002.
Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
University of Louisiana at Monroe. Monroe, LA. The program consists
of 128 class hours that includes, Abnormal Psychology, Social
Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Personality Theory and Educational
Psychology.
Clinical Experience
University of Louisiana at Monroe Marriage and Family Therapy
Clinic
Responsibilities include scheduling therapy sessions with clients
and maintaining client files. Requirements for program completion
include acquiring 500 client contact session hours through on-campus
internship and off-campus externship. Internship: January 2001
to May 2002
A+ Academy at Ouachita Parish High School
Responsibilities include scheduling individual and/or family therapy
sessions with A+ students and their families.

STEP (Systematic Training for Effective Parenting) Facilitator
Organized and facilitated parenting classes and workshops for
the local community and area schools through Graduate Assistantship.

Graduate Assistantship through the Geneve Castles' Endowment
of the MAFT Center
Responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating Parenting
Classes for area community centers, local schools, MAFT clients
and their families. Gathering information from area community

Behavioral/Vision Therapist
Worked with children as a Behavioral Therapist by executing the
latest techniques through the Vision Enhancement Program. Helped
children and adults develop vision ability by strengthening skills
such as attending, visualization integration and information processing.

Worked with this community service organization through the "It
