· There was a need for qualified staff for the new program. I was part of the original start-up team when the facility first opened. I helped to implement the new policies for the new facility. And assisted my colleagues to assess, intervene, and follow-up on the clients.

Nov 2001-August 2002 Olive Crest Treatment Centers Santa Ana, CA
Child Care Worker
Maintain client supervision; implement program plans, and role model appropriate behavior in a group home setting.

· As an on-call staff, I assisted in making sure the units were staffed appropriately. I made myself available for shift coverage as regular staff called off for their shifts or had other last minute emergencies in which they could not cover their shifts.

Sept 2000-Oct 2001 Children's Comprehensive Services West Jordan, UT
Mental Health Associate
Maintain client supervision, implement treatment plans, and manage client behavior in a 24-hour juvenile institution for sex offenders.

· Incidents concerning managed client behavior were frequent. By establishing good relationships with the clients and teaching appropriate anger management skills, I helped to lower the incidents by more than 50%.

Jan 1998-April 2000 Brigham Young University Provo, UT
Program Manager
Recruit potential volunteer tutors. Match qualified tutors with clients. Facilitate Orientation workshops for new tutors.

· There was a shortage of volunteer tutors. I expanded the volunteer tutoring personnel by creating and distributing flyers, making classroom presentations, and creating booths on campus. There was an increase in volunteer tutors as a result of my efforts, hence, making our program the largest in the nation.

Sept 1997-Jan 1998 Brigham Young University Provo, UT
Receptionist
Assist clients with inquiries concerning student programs for the Multicultural Student Services.

· There was a lack of information being relayed to students. I made sure that the students were aware of financial aid, student associations, activities, and other opportunities available to them. Hence, more students were served and informed.

July 1995-July1997 L.D.S. Church Associate Phonpei, FSM
Associate
I taught abstract and concrete subjects in a foreign language and in a third world country. I trained and supervised my colleagues regarding the language, culture, and their teaching skills.

· There were very few members attending church services. I visited them and helped to resolve concerns they had. As a result, the number of active church members increased causing more unity among members and therefore, assisting my partner and I to find new people to teach.
