involved in student life, planning on law school

Brady Holtzclaw, an RA, is a senior psychology major from Anacoco.

I am a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity and hold the Executive Committee position of Grand Treasurer. I am also a part of Mortar Board, Hometown Hawks, Phi Kappa Phi, and a project member of the newly-established Social Science Research Lab. I do not have a job as of now, but I am looking for a job at a law firm in the area.

I have one younger brother who lives in Baton Rouge. He is a phlebotomist at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital and is currently in school there for Surgical Tech.

I plan on attending Law School, hopefully at LSU. I then plan on opening my own firm one day and eventually becoming a judge. I grew up around my Uncle Rocky, who is an Assistant DA in Baton Rouge, and the justice system/law has always fascinated me.

My favorite spot on campus is my apartment in the Bayou Village Apartments since I am married and it is our first home together.

One of my favorite professors is Dr. McGahan. He is a Psychology professor, and he settles for nothing less than the best from his students. He inspired me to not settle for average whether it is school or life in general.

It has not happened yet, but my favorite memory will be receiving my diploma this May.

Brady's ULM graphicWith all of the additions, including residence halls, apartments, the Student Union Building, and now an Intermodal Transit Facility, it seems that ULM is a completely different college since I first enrolled in the fall of 2004. It was done to beautify the university, but more importantly, it was done to help students study and live in an environment that would best help them succeed. These changes, the welcome diversity, and the wonderful faculty and staff here at the University of Louisiana at Monroe have made the next step in my life a successful one.
