Write a description of one of Blake's Illuminated Prints

Visit the William Blake Archive and browse it till you find one of Blake's prints which speaks strongly to you, appeals to your emotions and intellect, and you think is beautifully executed.  Finally, you need to pick one that strongly reminds you of one of the poems we've read and explain how the graphic speaks to that poem and visa-versa.  Take note of colors, shapes and the layout of the landscape and figures in the print and show how the graphic you chose supports the poem you remember in tone and meaning.

Finally, write a one page, single-spaced detailed description of the print as a whole which includes a discussion of how the print and the poem speak to and reinforce each other.  Your description should:

Write the description in a word processing file and bring the printed paper to class.

Do not write a description of the Plates containing "The Sick Rose," "The Lamb," or "The Tyger."
