On-line Literature Classes follow the same basic pattern during the entire semester
Just like in a resident class where you meet face-to-face, the Internet class expects you to participate in discussions and to do assigned tasks.
Generally, we will follow a similar pattern of events every week:
Reading over the weekend up to Tuesday of each week.
A quiz and/or exercise in Blackboard based on the readings posted by Sunday evening and due every Tuesday before 11 p.m.
A Discussion using Blackboard Virtual Classroom or Discussion Board posted every Saturday or Sunday and running for 10 days.
By Saturday of each week be ready to repeat the round of events.
Expect some irregularity in this pattern during holidays which generally extend the week to 10 days. This occasional irregularity makes it very important to review the syllabus and weekly schedule often and be on-line frequently.
